Lake Luzerne has countless activities in and nearby the Adirondack village.  Paddle, ride, walk or slide on your next Adirondack vacation this year.  Where else but in the Lake Luzerne Region could you do so many things throughout the year.  Paddle your way down the Sacandaga or Hudson Rivers on whitewater raft, kayak or canoe or try your luck at trout fishing.  Enjoy a stroll through the village, parks, libraries and museums.  All offer a unique look into the colorful history of the area. 

Ride down a forest path on horseback or see the pros at a real live rodeo... a favorite for the family.  Our warm days and cool nights are perfect for boating, swimming, long walks, and picnics.  Visit our famous Lake Luzerne Music Camp or summer craft fair, and don’t miss one of the many evening outdoor concerts at our public lakeside pavilions.

Walk down a fairway and enjoy the views as you sharpen your golf game at one of our acclaimed courses.  Hike through pine forests or tour the region by car or bike.  Marvel at the sights of over one hundred balloons taking flight during the nearby Adirondack Hot Air Balloon Festival.  Ride in an authentic horse drawn sleigh and discover an old-fashioned winter at our Lake Luzerne ice fishing contest.  We also offer more contemporary means of travel with miles and miles of snowmobile trails.  Cross-country and downhill skiing are minutes away.  Fishing, sledding, tubbing and skating are all part of a winter experience in our region... and don’t forget to end the day in front of a warm, crackling fire.  It’s all here in the Lake Luzerne Region...
